In fact, in part of the video, Jimmy is actually on part of the Bay St. Louis Bridge, which was destroyed by Katrina's storm surge. Second, the FloraBama is actually in Florida, as the state line is to the west of the building, making it impossible for it to be in both states at once. So that whole thing about half the bar being closed at 1:00 a.m. and the other at 2:00 is false. The FloraBama's address is 17401 Perdido Key Drive, Pensacola, Florida. There is also a post statement at the end of the music video, stating the dedication to all the little beach bars along the Gulf that were destroyed. Furthermore, the FloraBama is currently under reconstruction due to damage from the past few hurricane seasons, so it is, in fact, not gone, but very much alive. The next time you decide to try and prove somebody wrong, please make sure that they are not smarter than you, like I have proven to be, or at the very least have your facts straight.
