Great band I love them and love this song.This along with See Me In Shadow are my favs. I think this is about this one person that won't open his heart to anyone and keeps all the problems to himself bringing a great amount of pain to his life...and the singer is telling him that no matter how long he takes to finally trust her she will always be there for him because she really cares and it hurts to see all the suffering .
