I think it's about a guy whose broken up with his girlfriend (or is breaking up with her)
and he's saying that she's not good for him

But everything's going to be alright, for him at least.
And he doesn't really want to tell her what he thinks because it might hurt her too much,
"And i'm a lie away from saying what i really think".
