Actually, it's the guy on keyboards (and drums) that died of a heart attack, Felix Haug, years after the duo broke up. Kurt Maloo, the singer, went on to pursue a (mostly unsuccessful) solo career through the mid 90's. He's actually still at it, with an album supposed to come out later this year.
