Well good guesses but, i think that in this song Brandon is talking about the sin that people keep pined up in side of them and out of sight, and how there hopping it will just go away. an the chorus means to just expose it and throw it away(the Molotov Cocktail) . The next verse is about turning your back on the the church because the world(the Machines) says you screwed up, your not good enough. The end of the next chorus is pretty simple he just wants you to show the real you , expose your faults(take off the "Mask"). The next part he talks about "this routine feels like a knife" IOW it hurts him to keep covering this up and he is ready to expose it. The last line seems self explanatory
