To me this seems to be basically talking about the actual murder, and describing it in graphic detail.
"Find an easier way of dying, before you get murdered" - this seems to me like 'dying' actually means living. Albert needs to have a normal life, even though that would never have happened, before he gets murdered, which he did with his death sentence.
