Cover art for The Eagle lyrics by Light This City

It reminds me extremely of an Alfred, Lord Tennyson poem entitled, oddly enough, 'The Eagle'... :

He clasps the crag with crooked hands; Close to the sun in lonely lands, Ring’d with the azure world, he stands.

The wrinkled sea beneath him crawls; He watches from his mountain walls, And like a thunderbolt he falls.

Sounds like this hardcore metal band (or the, ahem, female songwriter) has an affinity for traditional, versed poetry.
