i definately think this song is about how love in the beginning is so fresh and beautiful ("a smile of joy arrives in me") but after awhile it just turns into chaos and depression ("but sudation changes to panic and nausea"). also, he's relating it to drugs of course. because heroin is the exact same way. but, there's a twist. he spells it heroin'e' (with an 'e')....meaning female hero. so, in other words he's basically saying she saved him. but, of course, it all turned to chaos and now he's left with the memory of her only turning him absolutely mad with every second. i do believe tho, that he is the one who broke up with her. because in the last verse, he says "i'll bet you laugh at the thought of me thinking for myself, i bet you believe that i'm better off with you than someone else." meaning he broke up with her knowing that she would never find anyone like him. also, i think that the line "your face arrives again, all hope i had becomes surreal" means that he ran into her down the road and, like any ended relationship, he had to fight to not fall in love with her all over again(all hope i had becomes surreal)-all hope he had of getting over. and that under her covers there's more torture than pleasure. i think he's trying to say that she's deceiving. at first, like heroin, she seems perfect, flawless. but, he had to find out the hard way that that wasn't the case at all. the same as everyone does if they become addicted to heroin. so, he knows that to go on he will have to break her, his habit. thats just what i think tho..... :) i love this song
