I like their new songs . I like change and it's not bad to listen to at all. The meaning is obvious I guess but I'll write what i think it means anyways.
I think this song is about a relationship, any relationship, between two people that ended badly and the person in this POV of the song is going through the process of being emotionally wrecked and having regrets, wallowing in their sadness.

They realise that there's always hope, symbolism of the 'the sun comes up'. New beginnings

On the outside they look calm but in the inside they're in deeper turmoil. they bottled up their emotions.
It's a bit like saying relationships always have it's highs and lows but true love endures all obstacles and gives chance for new beginnings.
