I think it is about loving his wife very much but trying to give her some space to see how she will do on her own. when it says "She's all that I see, and all that I breathe", its about Mary. Mary means everything to him. then it says "Take, take a look around, Sh'es a pretty good dancer", this is about Scott noticing hw Mary can do fine on her own and Scott is just njow relizing this.
