It's so amazing to me how once you listen to Anna Nalick's CD, Wreck of Day, long enough, you come to learn that all of her songs fit together.
I find that Soldier is the main story, and that the other songs fit into it.
I wrote a string of stories based on this song for my english class. I came up with this:
I. Soldier
A. More Than Melody: the girl and boy fall in love
B. Forever Love (Digame): they promise to love eachother forever
C. In The Rough: The boy comes back, but they are not in love anymore.
D. Bleed: They have broken up.
E. Drink Me: The girl starts a new life, and sees the boy at a performance
F. Catalyst: This is the boy talking to his new girlfriend/wife. She wants to leave him, and he doesn't want her to leave.
G. Breathe (2AM): this is a bit of a stretch, but the wife finds the old girlfrind and they go together to get a divorce
H. Wreck of the Day: the conclusion to everything
