I just recently found out that Rose Chronicles vocalist & lyric writer Kristy Thirsk has asthma. I'm wondering if this song may be refering to it. Perhaps she's suffering an asthma attack which is causing her heart to pound but she used her inhaller & she's waiting for the release.
