I agree with southern. It's about how perfect he thought the relationship was when it started out, then it ended for one way or another. He thought she was perfect and all he needed in his life then after taking a step back and looking back at the relationship, it wasn't worth all he put into it and that she is to blame. Then he realizes that he doesn't need her in his life as long as he has his friends. At their shows they always make a point to show that his friends are everything to him
