I haven't actually heard this song so I dont no the tone of the piece, is it angry? sad?...
But to me theres some links to the whole inequality of men and women. It sounds a bit femanistic to me, if thats even a word!?
'She's fighting a battle with no one on her side' No one questions the work of a house woman because its what has always been done in alot of places.
But then again, Tracy may not be talking about a woman in the home, maybe shes talking about a crop worker - out in the fields 24/7...
