I love WAS too. :) When i listened to this song i fell in love with it instantly. it's a little different from the rest of their songs. but the lyrics are kind of similar.
I think that mostly it's talking about a relationship. Like "And if we have to go now, I guess there's always hope, Tomorrow night will be more of the same." could point to a one-night-stand or maybe just a relationship that seems to be near an end and you get little time to spend with the other person.
and of course, there's the reference to drinking and the whole "it's probably time i get a taxi home but i really want to stay with you" type thing.
