I don't know much about all these Dee/Noel rumours but I have to admit that my interpretation of this song is kinda like Sarahx3. Except, I actually thought that "Crazed by my make believe" is more like a person being a bit paranoid (because it's "My make believe") in the sense that she starts to imagine things:
"a tongue down a throat, the grip on your arse"
perhaps she doesn't trust him anymore coz he cheated and she now starts doubting him every time she thinks he's being a little suspicious. ("why did you stammer?")
I really like this song though, it's so great. I would like to point out bits that I especially love but the whole thing is just awesome in my opinion :D
