I don't really know the exact meaning of the lyrics.
But to me, it reminds me of someone who talks about God and tries to, like, scare people. I can't explain it.
It's someone who tries so hard to get kids and people to be religious. Like those people who are like "Oh my gosh, don't do that or you'll die. God will hate you forever, he'll never forgive you." They think they're doing something good, but they're scaring the kids and "turning them away from God".
Again, I really don't know because I suck at interpreting lyrics but this is what it means to me.
