I think that it's about sin. "All these ups and down they trip up our good intentions" is something that I can relate to in that I often have good intentions, I want to do the right thing, but the fact is that I sin, and there's no way I can avoid that because "after all, we're only human." I do agree scrubs is awesome btw. anyway that's my take on it.
