i think this song is about a guy who is so understanding of the one he loves that he just wants her to let all her pain go. it can also mean that he wouldnt be hurt if she let goes of him because the sparks are gone, but he'd always be by her side or have her back as a true friend after or something... or i don't know. but this song is so inspirational... it makes me feel nice after a hard day.
