Twist Lyrics

I am very surprised that nobody has commented about this song yet. I personally think this is Xavier Rudd’s most important song. When I first heard this song I thought it was just a feel good song but I think it has more meaning than that now. When he says "because everybody's ok" to me it means that do not worry about other peoples differences just be good to them. The lines about people looking for food and shade to me mean other people have far worse problems then you will ever understand so forgive people. Last I love the line "Or some flowers to your mother, cause she gave you what you need" only because what you need is to be alive and you should give thanks to someone or something for that gift. Also I know other people have commented on other songs and said that he is much better in concert, and he is. When he is playing and singing he performs like every line has its own story behind it.

Mpanczak, I salute you.

You are damn right about all of that.

Racism is such a damned stupid and hypocritical thing be. To be racist is to discriminate against other people over differences. Discriminating against someone because they are different is just such a stupid thing to do. Would you rather us all be robots who look and think exactly the same?

A direct quote from the great Dr. Martin Luther King:

"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin...
