This instill of ignorance could be linked to the title(Jesus and Austria) because both (to a person of no education in a small christian town) exist to that person but there is no proof but they blindly agree without truly understanding " Stab at that empty space"
if you ask an un-poorly educated person to locate Austria they will not be able to anymore than they can locate or explain their religion "What's the use of trying to find us" which causes the whole "You slug your priest" = ignorance
