Since most of the songs on the album seem to be about the end of a relationship and the hard work of getting back on one´s feet sfter a breakup, this one sticks out a bit, focusing on the immediate physical pleasures of sex. "When I feel this way I really am with you", I think is a way of saying that sex can be a means to experiencing a deep sense of closeness between two people, but at the same time it's so primal and in a way stupid, like a monkey with a miniature cymbal...
