This is the perfect ending for an album like this. It appears that Max and his girlfriend are back together, possibly married or having moved to another town to get away from their problems. but from the sound of max's girlfriend she is not very convinced. Max and her will really have to work to get themselves back on stable ground. The music at the end is so suspensful and then just climatic and wonderful. This is one of the best songs on the album. Easily.

They work through their problems now, they've stopped running away from their problems they will face them together. Ironically they did this by running away from their old lives. Have they really changed? I'd like to hope so.
