i think that everyone is totally missing the meaning to the song... they're to busy discussing if it's emo or not :P who cares whatever it is, (real rock if u ask me!) it's AWESOME!!! and i love it completely and i think it means that nothing else in the world matters to him except to be loved. he would rather love than hate... even though he might of been hurt once he still wants to let love in, "take the past burn it up and let it go, i'm stronger than you'll ever know" meaning that he will make it and move on!!! like so many of us need to be reminded of, (after we've been hurt ) that we can move on even if we dont want to. as much as it hurts and as much as u know it can hurt, u still want more.
