I was watching an interview on MTV with R.Kelly the other day when he mentioned this song. When confronted as to who this song was about, this is what he had to say:
"I wrote this song about an experience that happened to me twice actually. See, my bro Usher and I, we be rolling in the Massachusetts hood two times, when we spot these two foxy ladies, Lisa and Meghan. Of course, when this happen, we were separated from one another and we did not see both ladies at once, but on separate occasions, but both times, both chicas had us fooled. The lady in the song is a joint venture between the two girls. By that I mean, it was Lisa who worked at TBS, and Meghan who lived on Peace Street for a while, but you know what I mean. Anyways, those two girls, the same girls. Damn. I mean, I thought I was the playa, but ends up they play the game better than I do. You know what I mean?"
When asked about the validity off the Chapelle song parody "I Want to Piss on You", R. Kelly said:
"Now, what most people do not know about that song is that Chapelle and I actually collaborated on that. No hard feelings, you know? The song goes into detail about my relationship with an adolescent boy named Pawel."
