Hmm, I'm new to all this song-analysie reading between the lines stuff, but...
I think it may be about a person, who is in love with / or is smitten by someone. However they arn't treated very well, as in the other person is deceptive, cheats or is just a general asshole.
I get the impression the person(singer) knows they have to/ or wants to move on.

Little wish for one night love" - the person must try hard not to fall for the other person/forgive them or show sympathy.
