I really dig this song. Even if I can't profess to understand the "meaning", it means a lot to me- viscerally and musically.
The gut-wrenching vocals, the rhythmic call and response of the song.
I so love this:

indeed. When you already KNOW all you need to know...but you're not through the grinding. processing loss. despondency. feeling all alone.

I think this song is about how Paul(lead singer) had/has a significant other in whom he finds he can never win a fight. futhermore at this point its not even worth it cause he knows "that nothings gonna change" and he'll"just to fall in line." Im not clear what the "stare at the sun is supposed to mean" but the rest im pretty sure is about he doesnt want to give the girl the credit of always winning. Id like to get the chance to find out for sure cause Im really feeling this one. Nevertheless this song is badass...
