I agree with the bush, this song isn't about giving up, but it is about when satan uses the sirens and their beautiful (yet decieving) song to tell us that there is no battle. We are part of God's army and are constantly fighting Satan, but when he can convince us that there is no fight then he is free overcome us with temptation.
