I'm going through the same thing you are, but the girl point of view. Everything you wrote down happened to me and this guy from California, I met him at church, he's the worship leader there. I went to his house with some of his friends but still spend some quality time with him. Would talk to him, take many pictures, he would go out of his way to talk to me, make jokes, smile at each other, he was perfect, the list goes on and on.(When I read your comment I thought you were him lol I know it sounds funny.) We were so close but yet so far away. We kinda knew we were both going crazy about one another, but we didn't do anything about it. We would just "stand at a distance, hiding each other in our eyes." But time came too fast, I had to leave California, because I was starting school the next week.
And I do look back at everything, which was so little but so much in our hearts. I do laugh, sometimes cry, I also close my eyes just to picture him singing, looking at me, his adoring hazel eyes on me all the time. I just can't get that out of my head. It kills me that I can't be there with him.
And I'm still holding on to hope, too. Trying to keep my strength, hope and faith in him. I do realize we didn't actually start something but it was there, love was there! I miss him so much, hope he misses me too.
