I think this one is about a relationship that the writter is no longer happy with. In fact, I think he's scared. All the metaphors of some sort of bodily harm and he doesn't like what the other person in the relationship will eventually turn him into. "til I finally break down" I think the best part of the song is the last two lines. They paint this picture of the girl who is causing him the problems and he's letting her go. He talks about "the dark." Darkness has an archetypal connection with evil. And given the bands Christian background, it's safe to assume that this connection can be made. It's my opinion though that the "he" in the last line is refering to the devil. It is being written in a cynical way as to portray the writter's giving up, she wants to live that way anyway.
Finally, a quick tweak in the lyrics should be addressed, he does not say "you games", rather he says "your games." At first listen it is easy to think this way but when you listen closer you can clear hear him singing your.
