Lyric discussion by dead-god-in-me

this is one of the most touching songs I´ve ever heard. it´s pretty much like a philosophy book: deep and thought-provoking, but in just 16 lines. I think it´s about how religious people tend to piously believe that anybody that doesn´t belong to their creed or sect is going straight to hell and that their own religion (which is only one among many others) is the one and only true religion.at least that´s my interpretation of the six first lines. in the chorus the author advises people to live their lives without bothering with other peoples conceipts so that everything will be fine. he also tells people to do something constructive until the day they die. in the last stanza he makes a comment about how religious people view mankind´s bad deeds. christians tend to blame the world´s problems on the devil and on hell´s fire, while buddhists blame it on human desires, when, in fact, the blame is on mankind and it´s lame ethics. in the last line he points to a major ethical corruptor: religion. the face of God is the face of evil. religion is the evil.
