i think i tis just that he really loves her, but she has no more emotions towards him anymore, only anger because her father is what makes her so emotionally tired. So, there are none left for him, not just anger, but love too.He always sees her angry even when he tries to love on her. He tries to make her feel better or he gets angry when she is angry and he wonders why he wastes all his emotions on her when he knows that the reason she is angry is because her father.
