the lyrics of that one are wow! I can't stop listening to it lately, wintertime brings a morose mindset and this sure is giving me a most welcome warmful feeling and reflection on 'what really matters'.
yet here the message is about looking at yourself, finding a better self, in a godly way be good, or just keeping faith, I don't believe in a god. but anyway..

just one thing, there's a word, in english which is not my native tongue, I think it's "corky" (...) corny? I"m not sure lol I'm looking 4 the adjective, sorry, anywoo lol
that's a word alike that could be used to discribe the subject on "the Ladder", it could be taken in a lightly way, or worse just pretend that this is lyrically only a greeting-card chorus or something! ha ha..
