I see this song as being a sort of reality check. It seems to be telling us that, where this is something of face value...there is something more to it. There is more to find behind the cover, is what I'm trying to say. It sort of tells the story of how we as human beings enjoy the stories and tales of the idealized, the romanticized view of the world. It's how we try to forget and put aside the actual truths of our world and our people (whether it be good or bad) for a beautiful lie. And in creating these lies, we must put on our bravest face to endure the actual truths.
