The use of the phrase "drug me", to me, makes this very obviously NOT about drugs. In Flames lyrics tend to be much more complex than that.
I believe it's a love song but not in such a simple way, it could be interpreted differently to "boy meets girl" type love.
"Drug me, infiltrate my neverland.
Like the floodtide drowning the shore.
Drug me, you’re all over me.
You watch my blood begin to boil."
This verse, to me, is Anders addressing the "you negative" in the chorus that he "leaves behind".
"I love that lullaby, start me up again
Electric spine, open mind"
This one is about someone/something entering your life, "electric spine" meaning the tingly feeling you get in your spine whenever something fucking amazing happens, and it "starts you up again" and "opens your mind" to the person/thing.
"I leave you negative behind.
Watch me all in flames.
On a butterfly I ride."
Coming back to the first verse, leaving the negative things behind and renewing yourself ("watch me all in flames" referring to your old self being left behind) and "on a butterfly I ride" once again describing the awesome feeling you're receiving from the new person/thing.
"Inhale the light, relax for some time
The world outside stays numb tonight
Free your mind, express the forgotten
The world inside is yours tonight"
This part is basically revelling in the joy that the new person/thing brings you ("inhale the light") and forgetting the outside world and pretty much concentrating on the new person/thing for a while.
"Please me, deliver the insane
In the chaos I find peace
Please me, remind the gods of my name
I believe there is one seat left for me."
This one is slightly different from the rest of the song. "In the chaos I find peace" could mean that he enjoys seeing his old life be destroyed/forgotten about, the old "eye of the storm" thing.
The "remind the gods of my name..." line I'd imagine is some sort of allusion to not wanting to be left behind by what still means a lot to him from his old life.
