Regardless of the biological sex of the artist, she is explaining that there are attributes of her personality that can be gendered in 'both' ways. So, if you weigh the maleness and femaleness of one person, what do you end up with in the end? a boy, or a girl? But does using that language really make any sense at all? I am curious as to whether the artist self-identifies as trans, not that she necessarily needs to to make her statement... I really like this song...
