i think missjen5's interpretation is pretty right on, but i had a different interpretation of the "...inside out" group of lyrics-stanza-whatever. for me, it seems that he is describing the sequence on events---kinda like an emotional montage..1."turn me..." describes the hurt pain 2."try to see..."knee-jerk reaction/defense mechanism 3. "turn the page..." realization/understanding the situation 4."and i'll try..." remedy/ apology.
to me, this is the secret to any relationship. everyone gets hurt by someone at some point in time...and MOST of the time it was because of a mis-understanding...and the point is life is better when THAT person is in the loop.
