everytime i hear it, i always assume that he's talkin about a booze cruise. just drivin around randomly and drinking. sounds terrible, maybe stupid, but we do it a lot at my high school cause there aint shit to do. its just matches perfectly, windows down, throwin the cans out, breaking at a stop sign, racing down a road. it came on one time during a boooze cruise and i just kinda stopped and thought...wow. the first verse at least, maybe second verse about stopping by the beach and wading. maybe smoking some reefer and tryin to be quiet but they're coughing too much and they act older than they are. then just lookin out on the water and thinking. when theyre talking in the beach he finally kisses this girl and he can't stop thinking about her for days, then she comes and he moves in with her?
