I think it's just me... but I see a lot more to this song.
with reference to the title, it can either refer to the fact that the LIES that are being told are KILLING (awful)... OR it can mean that these lies are going on, but he wants to kill them and stop them.
something's obviously going on in this relationship that causes the girl to become scared and worried.
so by these lines:
"You don't want trouble
Well we might get some
We might get some,
It's troublesome"
anyone could look at the 2 clauses and see the same words, just written twice. but actually, in the first clause, I think he's blatantly stating that the girl "brought [them] trouble" (somehow)... so they're going to "get some".... but then, this might be a stretch, but I think he's saying "we might get SOME"... as in sex. people always say they're getting some when they actually mean they're getting sex. so because they're going to have sex, "it's troublesome".
but then he goes on to say "but don't you worry"... telling her not to worry, because eventually, as he later says, that these "killing lies" are recognized and eventually they are both going to go "killing lies" :)
in the second verse, still, she's worried and hurried, and he's letting her know that their relationship HAS changed. he's obviously attracted to this girl, as he wants to look at her before he lets her go. but then, he goes and tells her not to worry, because she will help him.
maybe by coming clean she will help him? or maybe by ending the relationship she will help them both. the then goes on to recognize these killing lies again.
maybe the whole situation just means that there are lies that exist in the relationship, and they just need to come clean with each other.
what I can't figure out is when he says "oh yes I notice you, you are a friend of mine"... it's hard to tell (when he screams the last line) if he really means it... that their relationship is better, OR if she's ONLY a friend, and their relationship is broken.
well, that's what I think :)
