Of all of the covers that I have come across of this song, I'd have to say that this one is by far my favorite. I think this song really has a lot of passion that is really conveyed by Scott. The umbrella is obviously a metaphor for something so much more. The relationship/fling/whatever has ended but there's still so much chemistry left there. Whether or not that chemistry will ever re-ignite the spark is up in the air. I know that I can definitely relate to this song and I'm sure many other people can as well. It's about caring for someone so much and knowing that they will always be a part of you.
