well obviously this song is fuckin rad, sublime never lets me down. but the song has a lot of different meanings, the usual themes of drugs, racism and all that good stuff apply, but here are some of my personal observations

i think this is referencing bob marleys "buffalo soldier" because in that song their is a few lyrics that go "buffalo soldier in the heart of america, stolen from africa, brought to america" so i mean its a pretty obvious comparison
and if rhymes were valiums I'd be comfortably numb
this line is my personal favorite in the song it really signifies brads creativity and greatness as a song writer but it is reffering to pink floyds hit "comfortably numb"
