I definitely think the first verse is about how he feels flawed somehow which is more explained through the chorus where he's basically confessing that he doesn't love a certain someone that he had sex with. "shall we burn it like the last time" is kinda like saying he wants to forget about the last time they had sex. And "...I never, felt it, not even the first time" is saying that he didn't feel the love... not even the first time. The second verse is kinda saying that he doesn't want to regret the passion that they shared however, but sadly doesn't want to have a serious relationship with this person.
