actually Hayley talked about this song in a live journal reply to a comment someone left in her post "what are you ashamed of?" and basically Hayley had replied to the girl "i cant say ive ever loved someone and longed for another.but I have loved someone and used another.i actually wrote a song about it and I hope it makes the record."
so personally Im guessing Decoy is that song.and it makes perfect sense.
she pretended to like someone just so she could get to another.it was fake.a decoy.i think that basically sums it up in a nutshell.
