i agree with chostickthugz's interpretation and see another layer.
i think it is about being present...not being worried about the future..ideas or beliefs...things that really don't exist.
"its not, its not" is relating to things not 'supposed' to be, kinda like social norms and social protocal...things that don;t exist.
"i am, i am" verses is in the present and listening to the mind and body...and as a result, spitiually growing.
