Well, Bazan as I've seen him live, is very humble, in Philly, I watched him walk in and out of the backstage for beers and piss before the show, he was humble to the point of seeming shy. And he was self deprecating on his abilities as a guitarist. I think when he says "I still run the show, and don't you forget it" it's fairly tongue and cheek, but introspective as well (he's not a cocky person, but part of him thinks that way).
