My Saving Grace

I think the guy really liked this girl but she didn't fully send back mutual feelings but at the same time kept him thinking there was hope to be with her so she was "toying" with him and in reality she really wanted someone else completely hence "you're still chasing him" and the "I can see your eyes drifting past what you have" so in the end he thought she was great but when he figured out what she was really about he hates her and calls her a vulture instead of the angel she was made out to be
