For some reason, I've always viewed this particular song to be about the determination behind love; to find love and to be loved. Some people have the capability of giving unconditional love and may be on a constant search to find one to give it to. They may try and fail, but never give up because they are fueled by the goodness they see in keeping one's heart open.
