I saw that website too that said it was the most rousing suicide song ever and i was like "no, they wouldnt write about that, this is just anothe rone of their songs about leaving your hometown."

now im not sure because ive found some evidence that its about suicide.
-first is that he is usually happy about leaving, and doesnt go on about how bad things are, but rather glad that hes leaving them behind.
-This is something he cant get away from. its like he keeps running but it doesnt go away.
-he mentions it being cold, but i dont have much to back that up with other than it fits in with the suicide theme more than leaving something behind and moving on.
-Lastly, people who commit suicide usually don't want to die. they just want to escape their problems and dont know how else to do it. As he says, "It's the only way I know."
