i signed up with this website just for this post..... i have seen several interviews with dustin on this cd and he sticks to the his guns on one thing, he has always had a constant battle with god he doesn't know if he is real or something programmed into his mind and he likes to express that, so anyone who thinks this is a christian cd or all about god that fact is incorrect but you are always entitled to your own opinion...
No one is saying every single song on the album is about God. Obviously, Pistol is not. But to say that Dustin Kensrue is not a Christian man, and to imply that this song isn't about a man totally surrendering himself to God is absolutely insane. He says father, which is universal for God. The line "sweet deliverer" gives it away as well.
