i think the moon is metaphorical to a sad guy. or someone who's been unlucky in love.
and the sun is supposed to be someone who shined as bright as the sun.
because if you think about it any other way, the song doesn't make any sense really.
i can't wait until thier new cd comes out. it's taking way too long and it better be as good as this song. ;)
